The Spring Valley 100 is back for 2020!

100 miles through the southern Minnesota countryside.

Where? Downtown Spring Valley, MN

When? 10:00am on Saturday June 6, 2020

Cost? Free! Just bring a potluck item to the registration/start (enough for you and a few friends). We'll transport it to the checkpoint in Forestville for all to enjoy.

We strongly discourage any vehicles from driving on the course. Please do not follow your rider. No handups or outside support is allowed. This is for rider safety and enjoyment.

The Course

Much of the course will be the same as previous years, but the finish will be in a new location near downtown Spring Valley - updates will be posted as we have them.

Timeline / Location / Parking Info

Camping: Free camping at the Spring Valley City Campground. If you need an RV site or electrical, please call Val at Spring Valley City Hall at 507-346-7367 extension 1. The address is 14560 County Road 8. More info can be found here.

Parking: The main parking area is at Kingsland Highschool just outside the ball diamond outfields. Enter on Tracy Road. A secondary parking area is near downtown, on Highway 63 just north of Main St, a vacant lot across the street from the Spring Valley Public Utilities.

Registration: Registration is from 8:30am to 9:45am...a quick sign-in at our table on Broadway Street downtown Spring Valley...the street will be closed off for this event (The Summer Kickoff Party will take place at the park where we are finishing, not downtown this year). Just look for the Cyclocarbon Tent/Registration Table at the south end. You can also drop your potluck item here for us to bring to the checkpoint.

Race Start: 10:00am on Broadway St downtown Spring Valley (near registration)

Checkpoint: At the picnic shelter in Forestville State Park, near the Historic Forestville Site - any vehicles traveling to the checkpoint must have a state park sticker or daypass. We'll provide water, and all the potluck items you bring! (Mile 40 for the short course, approx mile 63 for the long course)

Finish: South Park, Spring Valley

After-party: The City of Spring Valley is throwing a Summer Kickoff Party at the finish. Enjoy music, beer, and food vendors.
